Sika Sikasil 825 Silicone Sealant Mid Grey 380 ml

Sikasil-825 is a low modulus, neutral cure silicone sealant designed for a wide range of sealing and bonding tasks in construction and home improvement. It adheres to both porous and non-porous surfaces without priming and can be used for perimeter pointing around uPVC, wood, and powder-coated aluminium, as well as sealing and bonding onto uPVC trims and components. The sealant provides weatherproofing and joint sealing for pre-formed panels, curtain walling, and glazing projects, including glass to glass and glass to metal interfaces. It is suitable for expansion joints and bedding insulated glass units, with excellent tooling and a long skinning time for large-scale work. The formulation offers high adhesion to glass, metals, plastics, wood, uPVC, and polycarbonate, and exhibits external weathering resistance over years of exposure. It is available in multiple colours and conforms to specified low-modulus sealant standards, with a non-slump, high-viscosity profile and resistance to certain fumed chemicals after cure.
