General description A highly durable, medium build, solvent-borne woodstain that provides a highly translucent, satin finish. It offers outstanding protection from the damaging effects of sunlight and is suitable for use on exterior softwood and hardwood joinery, windows, and doors. Cetol Filter 7 can be used as a maintenance coat for existing woodstain systems or applied over a base stain of Cetol HLS on new or bare timbers. However, it is not suitable for decking or areas subjected to high levels of abrasion.
