Forgefix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are designed to securely join timber to steel frames. The screws feature breakaway wings that create a clearance hole through timber to protect the thread until it contacts the steel surface, ensuring a strong and reliable bond. Equipped with a No.5 drill tip, they can self-drill through heavy gauge steel up to 12.5 mm thick. The screws are finished with an Elemtech coating to provide corrosion resistance and salt spray protection for up to 1000 hours, making them suitable for construction and renovation projects. They are compatible with TORX® compatible drivers for higher torque transmission and include a recessed rib design to improve countersinking.
