Techfast Timber to Steel Roofing Screws 5.5 x 150mm Box 50

TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are designed to join timber to steel frame buildings. They feature a No.5 drill tip for self-drilling into heavy gauge steel up to 12.5 mm, and breakaway wings that create a clearance hole to prevent the thread from engaging timber during drilling. When the wings contact the metal surface, they ream the hole and break off, allowing the thread to engage securely with the metal. The screws also include a TORX compatible insert for improved power transmission, and offer improved countersinking from recessed ribs. They are fire and corrosion resistant and comply with EU Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
