A traditional twin-thread woodscrew designed for quick installation, featuring a single lead start. It is primarily used in soft timber applications or masonry when paired with a plastic plug. The screw is partially threaded and includes a double countersunk head to aid countersinking and reduce head shear. It is constructed from C10-18 steel for consistent quality, with a 60° twin-thread, a parallel shank for faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance, and a 25° sharp point for a fast start and improved thread acceptance. Surface hardening up to 750 HV helps prevent torque shearing under load, while a core hardness of up to 450 HV provides improved ductility. Size is 10 x 3, and threading is partially threaded from 1 1/4” and above.
