A traditional heavy-duty woodscrew designed for timber-to-timber connections, attaching ironmongery to timber, or into masonry with a nylon plug. Suitable for pilot drilling in certain hardwoods, it features a hex head, zinc finish, and a 60° self-tapping thread. The screw is DIN 571 compliant, made of carbon steel, and rated for use in clean, dry, and low-humidity environments. Thread length is approximately two-thirds of the overall length (for example, a 100 mm screw has about 60 mm of thread). Substrates include hardwood, softwood, and brick when used with a plug. Size is 8.0 x 30 mm.
