Timco Coach Screws 8 x 120 Box of 50

A traditional heavy-duty woodscrew designed primarily for timber-to-timber applications, with additional use for attaching ironmongery to timber or into masonry when a nylon plug is used. Suitable for hardwood or softwood, with pilot drill holes potentially required for certain woods. The screw features a hexagonal head that can be driven with a wrench, spanner, or pliers, and has a 60° self-tapping thread. This model has a zinc finish and is made from carbon steel, offering corrosion rating appropriate for clean, dry, and low-humidity environments. Standard specifications include BS EN 14592:2008 and DIN 571. Note that the thread length is two-thirds of the overall length (for example, a 100 mm screw has a 60 mm thread). Designed for heavy timber connections and can be used with brick when a nylon plug is employed.
