Description
A traditional heavy-duty hexagon head woodscrew designed mainly for timber-to-timber applications. It is also suitable for attaching ironmongery to timber or into masonry when used with a nylon plug. The screw size is 8.0 x 50 mm with the thread length being two-thirds of the overall length (for example, 100 mm length has roughly 60 mm of thread). Pilot drill holes may be required for certain hardwoods. The screw conforms to DIN 571 and features a zinc-plated, passivated finish, with origin in CN.
