This traditional heavy-duty woodscrew is designed primarily for timber-to-timber applications. It can also be used to attach ironmongery to timber or into masonry when used with a nylon plug. The screw size is 8.0 x 100 mm, with a thread length that is two-thirds of the overall length (approximately 60 mm for a 100 mm screw). Pilot drill holes may be required for certain hardwoods.
