The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various hardwoods. It features a double countersunk head and zinc plating for durability and corrosion resistance. The screw is made from C10-18 steel, with a sharp 25° point and a 60° twin-thread, single lead design that starts quickly and improves thread acceptance. Partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above, it provides faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance while helping to reduce head shear and simplify countersinking. The plating is 3-5 microns of zinc, and the core hardness reaches up to 450 HV with surface hardness up to 750 HV to resist torque-related issues under load. This fast-installation screw is compatible with plastic expansion plugs and is suitable for a range of timber applications.
