The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is especially effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It is manufactured from C10-18 steel with zinc plating (3–5 microns), offering surface hardness up to 750 HV and core hardness up to 450 HV. The screw features a 25° sharp point, a 60° twin-thread with a parallel shank for quicker insertion and improved pull-out resistance, and a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and aid flush countersinking. It is partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches and above and is compatible with TIMco and other leading plastic expansion plugs.
