The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It is made from C10-18 steel, zinc plated, and is sized 8 x 2 1/2 inches. The screw has a 25° sharp point, 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank, and is partially threaded from 1 1/4 inches. It is designed and manufactured to BS 1210 standards and is intended to provide fast start, faster insertion, and improved pull-out resistance in appropriate substrates when used with compatible plugs.
