It detects motion up to 8m in diameter and presence up to 4m in diameter at a 3m ceiling height, making it ideal for hallways, landings, stairwells, toilets, storerooms and garages. NEAT FLUSH CEILING FIT: Sits almost flush with the ceiling for a discreet, tidy finish. It needs just a 75mm cut-out, and spring clips hold it securely in place with no extra fixings. IP44 rated for restricted indoor use. ADJUSTABLE TO SUIT YOUR SPACE: Set the light to stay on anywhere from 3 seconds to 18 minutes after movement stops. The adjustable light-level control (1 to 1000 Lux) lets you choose day and night operation or night-time only, so lights only come on when needed, saving energy. MANUAL OVERRIDE & MULTI-SENSOR OPTION: Need the light on for longer? Flick the isolation switch OFF/ON quickly to keep it on for up to 6 hours. Up to 8 sensors can be wired together so any one of them turns on all the connected lights, ideal for long corridors and larger rooms. HANDLES HALOGEN, LED, FLUORESCENT & FANS, PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED: Switches up to 2300W halogen, 500W LED (PF>0.9), 500W fluorescent or a 75W fan. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended, and it must be protected by a 10A breaker with an isolating switch fitted. Class II, so it must not be earthed. Will not detect through glass.
