It is an ideal alternative to lead, designed for applications where lead is traditionally installed, such as dormers, rooflights, solar panels, chimney flashings, abutments, and stepped flashings. Ubiflex is non-toxic, recyclable, and environmentally friendly, with no scrap value, reducing theft risk. It is 80% lighter and 50% faster to install than lead, offering handling, structural, and health benefits. Fully malleable and self-sealing if punctured, Ubiflex resists thermal movement, allowing aprons up to 12m without seams, reducing wastage.
