Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat 1L

A water-based, multi-purpose 2-in-1 primer and undercoat designed for interior and exterior woodwork. It delivers high opacity and strong adhesion, suitable for surfaces such as fibre hardboard, fibre insulating board (excluding fire retardant-treated types), chipboard, and MDF. Recoatable within 2 hours, it supports quick re-coating to help speed up projects. The product provides coverage of up to 13 m² per litre on most surfaces and can be thinned for sealing new or bare surfaces with up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint, or for normal use with up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint. It is a water-based formulation, noted for its quick drying and low odour, and is manufactured for interior and exterior wood applications.

This primer and undercoat is designed to offer excellent adhesion and opacity, helping to create a solid base for subsequent topcoats. It is suitable for a range of timber substrates, including MDF, and is formulated to support efficient application and reliable performance across varied conditions.
