Adjustable BL7 wall light – a timeless light source in black brass The BL7 wall light stands out both visually and functionally: it was designed by the British designer Robert Dudley Best (1892–1984), a contemporary of Walter Gropius – the founder of the Bauhaus style. Around 1930, Dudley developed the Bestlite series, which comprises table lamps, wall lights, floor lamps and pendant lights. Bestlite lights are highly regarded by designers and architects worldwide and are popular fixtures for private homes, as well as for hotels and restaurants. The head of the BL7 wall light is attached to the arm via a ball joint, allowing it to be rotated and swivelled. Since 2004, all Bestlite lights have been manufactured by Gubi, a renowned producer of high-quality furniture and lighting.
