The Casks Of Lindores STR Edition, this release explores Lindores spirit matured in Shaved, Toasted and Recharred red wine barriques, one of the core cask types used at the distillery. Smooth, Fruity & Inviting, Mellow plum jam and caramelised muscovado sugar are softened by creamy tablet notes and a whisper of cinnamon. Followed by a creamy palate of sweet plums, dates and ripe apricots layered with gentle spice and roasted chestnuts, leading to a warm, lingering finish of honey and soft caramel. Matured In STR Red Wine Barriques. Shaved, Toasted and Recharred barriques bring layers of gentle sweetness and depth, complementing the distillery character and adding richness to the developing spirit. Bottled At Our Signature 49.4% ABV. Bottled on site at Lindores Abbey Distillery at the distinctive strength of 49.4% ABV, a nod to the earliest written reference to Scotch whisky in 1494.
