SPEYSIDE SINGLE CASK MALT - A characterful 10 Year Old Speyside Single Malt from Auchroisk distillery in Banffshire - founded in 1974 and one of Speyside's respected "blender's distilleries", rarely bottled as a single malt in its own right. This Provenance release captures Auchroisk in single-cask form. FROM ONE SINGLE REFILL HOGSHEAD - 392 BOTTLES - Drawn entirely from one refill hogshead (ref. DL17319), this is a genuine single-cask bottling of a distillery whose spirit is almost entirely destined for blends. Just 392 bottles produced worldwide. 46% ABV, NATURALLY PRESENTED - Bottled at 46% ABV, with no colouring and no chill-filtration. Full flavour, exactly as it rested in the cask - nothing added, nothing taken away. SOFT BARLEY, TOFFEE & GENTLE SPICE - A nose of softened juicy barley, gentle spices and a biscuit style. A palate of hard candy, warming spice and toffee. A long finish of citrus warming to piquant spice and cereal hues.
