Timco HW120B Wing-Tip Self-Drilling Screw 5.5 x 120 Zinc Box of 100

The Timco Wing Tip heavy section screw is designed for attaching wood to heavy section steel with a maximum thickness of 12 mm. It features a fine self-tapping thread with wings that ream out timber, enabling the screw to achieve maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings contact metal, they break off to permit the thread to self-tap into the metal. The screw is partially threaded and plated for corrosion resistance, with a bright zinc finish described as toxin-free. It comes in a 5.5 x 120 mm size and is supplied in boxes of 100 pieces.
