Timco HW85B Wing Tip Self-Drilling Screw 5.5 x 85 Zinc Box of 100

The Timco Wing Tip heavy section screw is designed to attach wood to heavy section steel with a maximum timber thickness of 12 mm. It features a winged, self-tapping thread that reams the timber and allows maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings contact metal, they break off to enable the thread to self-tap into the metal. The screw is metric-threaded with wings, hex head with washer, and a self-drilling tip. It is zinc plated with a bright finish and a toxin-free coating. Key dimensions include 5.5 x 85 mm, compatible with a PH3 bit, and it comes in a 100-piece box.
