The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various types of hardwood. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and performs well in soft timber applications or masonry when used with a plastic plug. It is partially threaded from 1 1/4” and above, with a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and aid flush seating. The screw is made from C10-18 steel and zinc plated, offering a balance of hardness and ductility for reliable driving and pull-out resistance. It is compatible with TIMco plugs and other leading plastic expansion plugs, making it suitable for general woodworking and masonry applications that require a robust, fast-start fastener.
